A wholesaler in Olney, with 20 staff, was moving premises. That meant new print equipment in the new building, cabling to run it on, and the phone system moving across, all landing at the same time.
Three jobs, one date
A move puts several pieces of work on the same deadline. The network has to be cabled before anything can connect to it, the print fleet’s got to be working from the first morning, and the phones have to carry on ringing at the new address.
There’s also the cost of moving the equipment itself, which is easy to overlook when the budget’s going on the building.
What iNREACH delivered
iNREACH supplied six new Canon multifunctional devices and kept one existing Develop machine in service, giving seven across the new site. The cabling was carried out as part of the same job.
On the comms side, iNREACH moved the phone system to the new premises and restructured the contract with an extended term. That absorbed the cost of moving the equipment and brought the ongoing cost down.
The outcome
The wholesaler came out of the move paying £128.39 less a quarter than it had been before. The print and the phones were handled by one supplier working to one timeline, with the cabling done as part of the same job.
