Senior IT Sales Executive

Location: Milton Keynes / London / Hybrid

Salary: Competitive Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

Year One Earnings Circa £80k-£100k

Reporting To: Sales Director

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior IT Sales Executive to manage and develop existing client relationships while actively generating and converting new business opportunities.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven IT sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and closing business.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients, developing account growth strategies, and generating new business through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals and marketing-generated leads.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of MSP services and be confident discussing solutions such as:

  • Managed IT Support
  • Cyber Security Services
  • Microsoft 365 Solutions
  • Cloud Infrastructure and Azure
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery
  • Networking and Connectivity
  • Professional Services and IT Projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and business discussions.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Create account plans to drive revenue growth within existing customers.
  • New Business Development.
  • Generate new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals and outreach activities.
  • Qualify leads and develop opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations and solution demonstrations.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and business cases.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close deals.
  • Pipeline & Sales Management
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Work closely with technical and service delivery teams to develop customer solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT sales within an MSP, IT reseller, cloud provider, or technology services environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing existing customer accounts and driving account growth.
  • Demonstrable new business development and lead generation experience.
  • Strong understanding of managed IT services and technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including Directors and C-Level executives.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and commercially focused.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Experience selling Microsoft, Azure, Cyber Security or Cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Dynamics 365.
