TECHNOLOGY THAT CARE CAN RELY ON
Keeping Care Connected, Day and Night
Someone on a night shift needs to take a copy of a resident’s records. Someone in the office is chasing head office about an invoice. Neither of those is complicated. Both stop being simple the moment the equipment doesn’t work.
iNREACH supplies print, phone systems and IT to around 100 care homes and healthcare providers. We’ve been doing it since 1998.
One Supplier
What has to keep working.
Records get copied and printed around the clock. Phones ring all day, and when a line goes quiet somebody has to stop what they’re doing and find out why. Underneath both sits a network nobody thinks about until it stops.
We supply and support print, phone systems, IT and audio visual. Take one, take all four, or start with whichever is causing you the most trouble.
What changes when more of it sits with us is how much of your week goes on working out whose problem something is. One account manager covers everything across every site, and one bill arrives instead of four.
Support
Out of hours, honestly.
Your building runs around the clock. Most of your office work does not.
Servers stay on all the time, and residents’ records need to be reachable at three in the morning. But the admin, the billing, the reporting and most of the printing all happen during the day, the same as any other business.
We can provide support 24 hours a day by arrangement, priced separately because it costs us to staff. In practice most groups look at what round-the-clock cover costs, weigh it against how often they’d actually use it, and decide their teams can wait until morning for anything that isn’t urgent.
Where you do need cover outside normal hours, it’s there. Where you don’t, you’re not paying for it.
Multi-Site
Groups and multiple sites.
If you run a care group rather than a single home, each of your sites probably looks after its own day-to-day running and stays fairly self-sufficient. Most of the groups in our books work that way.
Cloud-based systems mean every one of your homes works the same way and gets the same level of security, without anyone at head office having to manage them one at a time.
The practical difference shows up in the admin. One contract covering every home in the care group, one renewal date, one bill, and one person to call regardless of which site has the problem. Business mobile works the same way, with usage pooled across the group instead of billed home by home.
Connectivity
Wi-Fi in buildings that weren’t built for it.
Care homes are often older buildings, and thick walls and long corridors are unkind to a wireless signal. Staff notice it first: a handset that drops in one wing, a tablet that won’t connect at the far end of a floor.
We’ll run a coverage test across the site and show you where the weak spots actually are, rather than guessing at them. Fixing them is usually a matter of extenders, or cabling where the building allows it.
That last part matters. Listed and protected buildings limit what can be installed and where, so we’ll tell you what’s possible in your building before anyone quotes for work in it.
Security
Residents’ data.
Your residents’ and patients’ data is the thing providers raise with us first, before price and before anything else.
It runs through every service you would take from us, because the records do not sit in one place. Some sit on a printer in a corridor, some in a phone system, and most somewhere in the cloud.
We’re Cyber Essentials certified, and we work to ISO 9001 standards.
Cyber security
Email security, awareness training, patching and dark web monitoring, with immediate escalation to senior support. Cyber Security
Compliance
CQC, NHS data standards and compliance.
Meeting your obligations is your job, and we wouldn’t claim otherwise.
What we can do is make sure nothing you buy from us gets in the way. We only sell and support hardware and software that meets UK regulatory requirements, which every manufacturer we buy from has to do to sell here at all.
If an inspector asks how a resident’s record is stored, retrieved or protected, the technology needs to give you an answer. That’s the part we’re responsible for.
Your care planning and eMAR system comes from whoever supplies it, and it stays with them. What sits underneath it is ours: the network it runs across, the devices your staff use to get into it, and the connection keeping it available when somebody needs a record at three in the morning.
Switching
Moving from more than one supplier.
Groups rarely change everything at once, and we wouldn’t suggest you did.
Contracts end at different times. Mobile agreements need to be in their final stretch before they can move. Print is usually on a longer term. IT support might be running month to month, or on a twelve month term, or ad hoc.
So we start by looking at what you’ve got, what’s coming up for renewal, and what can move now without a penalty. We take one service or one site first, get it working, and bring the rest across as they come free.
No obligation
Find out where you stand, free.
Three checks we’ll run without you being a client. No cost, no obligation, and the results are yours whatever you decide to do next.

Support
What you’ll actually be ringing about.
The calls that come in from care settings are the ordinary ones. Print quality has gone off or a machine has run out of toner. A line won’t dial out, or nobody can hear the person on the other end properly. Somebody can’t log in and their password has stopped working.
None of it is dramatic. All of it stops somebody getting on with their job.
Support
Who picks up.
Every provider says they answer quickly. What’s worth knowing is who you’ll actually get.
Calls come into our office and are answered by our own team. You get a person who can start diagnosing while you’re still on the line, which matters when the caller is a shift manager with other things to be doing.
Everything starts with phone and remote support, and most problems get sorted that way. Where one can’t be, an engineer comes out carrying the parts most likely to be needed.
Service contracts cover all parts, all labour and all call-outs. If something business-critical can’t be fixed on the spot, you’ll get replacement equipment while yours is looked at. There’s more on the Printer Support page.
Healthcare providers outside residential care get the same people and the same setup. Our Document Management Services page covers scanning and archiving in more detail.
