A professional football club with around 350 staff was running nine print devices spread across four separate agreements.

The problem

Age was the issue, and reliability was only part of it. Older machines sit on the network with security features that have moved on since the machines were built, and a device that can’t be kept current is a weak point for an organisation that size.

The four agreements were a problem of their own. They didn’t start or end at the same time, which meant renewals coming round separately through the year and five invoices a month going through accounts.

What iNREACH delivered

iNREACH replaced all nine. Six Ricoh multifunctional devices and three Ricoh printers, current models with up-to-date network security, chosen against what the club actually prints rather than what it’d ended up with.

Service costs came down alongside the hardware.

All nine then went onto a single agreement. Every device now begins and ends on the same date, so the next renewal is one conversation rather than four scattered across the year.

The outcome

The club saves an average of over £500 a quarter.

Billing went from five invoices a month to one a quarter. That’s the change the accounts team will notice first. Support is answered in-house from the iNREACH office in Milton Keynes.

Print that arrived one agreement at a time

If your devices have been bought separately over the years, the renewal dates are scattered and the oldest machine on the network is usually the one nobody’s looking at. iNREACH supplies and supports print for clubs and venues across the UK from its Milton Keynes head office, with support answered in-house.
