A golf business in Cheltenham, with 10 staff on one site, was in a telecoms agreement that cost a great deal for what it actually delivered.
What iNREACH delivered
iNREACH moved the business onto iNTALK, the phone system it designs, builds and supports itself. The cost came down and the setup matched the way the business runs.
Because iNTALK is iNREACH’s own platform, the contract can be changed part way through without going through a third party’s terms. For a ten-person business, that’s worth having the first time something needs adding.
It’s also an open platform. Some systems lock handsets to the provider through the firmware, so the hardware is worthless the day the contract ends. iNTALK works with any manufacturer.
Moving off the old agreement meant porting the numbers across, which iNREACH managed end to end. Timescales there depend on the outgoing provider and on Openreach, so earliest dates get quoted rather than promised.
The printer nobody had looked at
Print wasn’t on the agenda. It came up in the discovery meetings, where it turned out the business owned a small printer and was buying its own ink, at a cost per page nobody had worked out.
iNREACH replaced it with an A4 Epson colour device.
The outcome
Telecoms and print costs both came down, on products that fit the business better than the ones they replaced. The mobile fleet’s the next conversation.

Buying your own ink
If someone in the office is ordering ink cartridges, it’s worth working out what a page is actually costing. iNREACH supplies phone systems and print across the UK from its Milton Keynes head office, with support answered in-house.
