Printer Support

Ring us and a real person answers, in our own office, first time. Most problems are sorted on that call. When they’re not, an engineer is with you within four working hours.

About This Service

The stat everyone quotes, and the one that matters.

Every print company in the country works to a four working hour response. We have all been saying it for twenty-five years, and it’s stopped meaning very much to anyone.

What actually decides whether printer support is any good is who picks up when you ring, whether they know your machine, and whether they can sort it without sending anyone. That is where we put the effort, and it is why around half of print problems never need a visit at all.

iNREACH PRINT · PRINTER SUPPORT

Around half of print problems are sorted on the phone. Where an engineer is needed, we’re contracted to be on site within four working hours, and 99.6% of visits fix the problem first time.

What We Deliver

What you call about, and what happens next.

A real person answers, in our own office, first time.

Three things, mostly.

It won’t print. The most common call, and it can be any number of causes, from a network change to a driver to something physical inside the machine.

The print quality has gone. Streaks, banding, faded output, colour that isn’t right.

Toner is low or gone. Sometimes because a machine has been printing more than anyone realised.

The last one is worth heading off entirely. Where your machines are monitored, replacement toner ships automatically before you run out.

You ring, and someone in our own office answers. Not a queue, not a portal, no form to fill in.

They will ask what the machine is doing and work through it with you on the phone. Around half the time that is the end of it. Where it is not, the diagnosis over the phone tells us what the fault is before anyone gets in a van, and that changes everything about the visit.

We are contracted to be on site within four working hours. Our engineers carry the most-used parts as car stock, and because we already know what we are dealing with, 99.6% of problems are fixed on that first visit. Everything else we hold is at our Milton Keynes head office, so a part is never sitting in someone else’s warehouse.

Some faults never reach that stage. Where your machines are monitored, they report problems back to us directly, occasionally before anyone in your office has noticed anything is wrong. Preventative maintenance is genuinely worth having on print.

Across everything we support, our clients see 99.9% uptime.

Machine playing up, or fed up paying per call-out? Talk to our team and we will tell you what a contract would cover.

Printer maintenance contracts

Nearly every machine we supply goes out on one.

Print service is billed per page and covers all parts, all labour and all call-outs. Nothing arrives as a separate invoice when something breaks.

Without a contract, printer servicing is charged as time and materials: the visit, the engineer’s time, and whatever parts the machine needs. The parts are what people underestimate. A fuser unit or a drum is an expensive component, and once that sits on top of a call-out charge, most people look at the invoice and replace the machine instead.

All parts
Every component the machine needs, held in-house at our Milton Keynes head office.

All labour
Engineer time is covered, whatever the fault takes to fix.

All call-outs
No separate charge for a visit, whatever the reason for it.

A printer maintenance contract removes that decision entirely. It’s also why, if you lease your machine, you’ll have one anyway: the lease obliges you to keep the equipment maintained, so the contract runs alongside it.

Case Study

Managed Print Across 70+ UK Retail Sites.

A rapidly growing UK forecourt operator managing 70+ petrol stations had accumulated a fragmented, costly and largely invisible print estate. iNREACH Print deployed Canon devices with uniFLOW cloud management across all sites in two months – consolidating ten vendors to one.

The brands we support

Truly independent, and straight about the limits.

We are truly independent, not owned by a manufacturer and not obliged to push one. Our four main brands are Canon, Ricoh, Lexmark and Develop, with Canon and Ricoh the two we work with most. Because we hold accounts with nearly everybody, we can source a specific machine from another manufacturer where a deal calls for it.

Being straight about the limits: we support the brands we know properly, and we would rather say so than take on a fleet we cannot look after well.

If you have a mixed fleet and some of it is ours to support, that is a conversation worth having, usually with a view to bringing the rest across as machines come up for renewal. If none of it is, we will tell you honestly that you are better off elsewhere for now.

When print is business critical

Some businesses genuinely can’t lose a printer for a day.

Where print matters that much, we provide loan equipment while yours is being looked at. And because we are a print company with machines in the building, we can take the job in-house and run it for you.

Somebody being completely without print is rare enough that we struggle to remember the last time it happened.

Your account, and the people behind it

A dedicated account manager, and a UK-based back office.

You’ll have a dedicated account manager from day one, with account reviews as often as suits you, and they stay with you across everything we supply. Behind them is a UK-based back office. If you need to speak to accounts about an invoice, you ring and get put through, rather than emailing into the dark.

Six weeks after any installation, someone outside your account team calls to check you’re happy with the install, the service, the billing and your account manager.

When something isn’t right, you call us and our team answers centrally from our Milton Keynes office. Nothing is passed to a third party and nothing goes abroad.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Printer Support.

Phone and remote support answered by our own team, on-site attendance within four working hours where a fault can’t be resolved on the call, and all parts, all labour and all call-outs under a service contract. Support is billed per page rather than per incident.
An agreement covering the servicing and repair of your machines for a set rate, rather than paying for each visit. Ours covers all parts, all labour and all call-outs, billed per page, so the cost tracks what you actually print. It’s the arrangement nearly all our customers use, because paying per call-out works out considerably more expensive.
We’re contracted to be on site within four working hours where a problem can’t be fixed remotely. In practice, around half of print problems are resolved on the phone without a visit, and 99.6% of the ones that do need an engineer are fixed on that first visit.
Canon, Ricoh, Lexmark and Develop are our four main brands, with Canon and Ricoh the two we work with most. As a true independent we’re not tied to any of them, and we can source machines from other manufacturers where a deal calls for it.
It depends what they are. We support the brands we know properly, and where a fleet is entirely machines we don’t service, we’d tell you honestly that we’re not the right fit. Where part of the fleet is something we support, it’s worth a conversation.
Where print is business critical, we provide loan equipment while yours is looked at, and we can take the job in-house and run it here. It’s rare for a customer to be without print at all.
No, but almost everyone has one. Without a contract, printer servicing is charged as time and materials, covering the call-out, the engineer’s time and the parts. Given what components like fuser units and drums cost, a contract is usually the cheaper route by a distance.
