Silverstone has been an iNREACH print customer for more than ten years. The venue runs a fleet of multifunctional devices supported by print management software, so it knows what’s being printed and what it costs.
A calendar that will not sit still
Print demand at Silverstone rises and falls with the calendar. For most of the year the fleet handles the day to day running of the venue. Then the British Grand Prix arrives, the teams move in, and demand climbs sharply for a few days before dropping back again.
Permanent capacity for that peak would sit idle the rest of the year. The job is to add it when it’s needed and take it away again afterwards.
What iNREACH delivered
iNREACH supplies and supports the year-round fleet, and installs additional devices ahead of the Grand Prix, then removes them once the event’s over.
An engineer is on site through race week. If something goes wrong while the teams are there, it’s dealt with on the spot rather than logged and queued.
For the rest of the year, support works the way it does for every iNREACH customer, answered in-house from the Milton Keynes office.
