WILL MACINTYRE SCORES PODIUM IN HUNGARORING WEEKEND
RACE 1 – A PODIUM START
Macintyre kicked off the weekend in style with a commanding drive to 2nd place in Saturday’s opening race. Starting from P4, he nailed the start, slicing past Al Azhari and Ninovic into Turn 1 to slot behind leader Gianmarco Pradel. Despite pressure, Macintyre held his position, claiming podium and valuable championship points.
RACE 2 – FIGHTING THROUGH
Sunday morning saw Macintyre lining up P8 on the grid. He delivered a composed and determined performance, gaining ground throughout the race. After overtaking Hugo Schwarze and pushing hard in the closing stages, Macintyre crossed the line in 5th, continuing his momentum and collecting more points.
RACE 3 – HARD LESSONS
The final race of the weekend brought drama. Starting mid-pack, Macintyre got caught up in a fierce early battle, going side-by-side with Deagen Fairclough at Turn 5. The contact forced Macintyre into a spin, dropping him to the back of the field. He fought back with determination, recovering to 15th, but the incident marked a frustrating end to an otherwise strong weekend for Macintyre.
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS
Hungaroring was a reminder of Macintyre’s ability to perform across all conditions. With a podium under his belt and more points added, he remains a key figure in the midfield battle – and a serious contender.
With Silverstone up next, Macintyre will be looking to channel the highs of Hungary and bounce back stronger from the lows.
