Specification
Equipment that survives where you put it.
A machine on a factory floor isn’t living the same life as one in the office upstairs. Dust settles on it. So does whatever else is in the air. It runs hotter, gets knocked, and gets used harder by people who are wearing gloves and in a hurry.
That gets taken into account before anything is specified. Where a device is going, what the air is like, how often it will be used and by whom. Those answers change what should go in and how it should be protected.
Get it wrong and the equipment still works, mostly. It just fails more often than it should, and always at the point when something’s got to go out.
Managed print
Print at the volume you actually run.
Delivery notes, packing lists, paperwork that has to go out with a vehicle. It adds up faster in a warehouse than almost anywhere else, and it’s the sort of print that has to work because there’s a driver waiting on it.
Specification follows volume. How much you get through, what type of work it is, where the machines sit, and who needs to use them.
That cuts both ways. Ask us for a machine your volume doesn’t justify and we’ll say so, because the running cost over a year will take more off you than the right device would have. We’ve turned work down on that basis. Our Photocopier Suppliers page covers how the sums work.
Scheduling
Planned work, planned around you.
Some industries shut down for weeks at a time over the summer. If yours is one of them, that window is worth using.
The work gets booked in around your calendar either way. A shutdown is the best window there is for preventative maintenance, because everything can be checked and put right while the site’s quiet and nobody is waiting on it.
The other half of that is being ready when you start again. Equipment that has sat idle for weeks is more likely to give trouble in the first days back than at any other point. Worth planning for, rather than discovering.
Ordering works the same way. Lead times don’t shorten because a shutdown’s coming, so have that conversation early.
Connectivity
Coverage across a big site.
A warehouse or a production hall is a difficult place to get a signal into. Steel, racking and distance all work against it, and the dead spots tend to be exactly where somebody is standing with a handheld.
We will run a coverage test across the site and show you where those gaps actually are, then work out what suits the building. Sometimes that is a change of access point, sometimes it’s cabling to reach a part of the site nothing currently gets to.

Multi-site & remote
Sites, and the people between them.
Production sites, warehouses and offices talk to each other through the cloud, so it’s the same systems, the same security and the same backup wherever somebody happens to be working.
For people on the road, phone systems come with a mobile app, so a call to the office reaches whoever needs to answer it. Nobody’s handing out a personal number. Business mobile can be pooled across the business rather than billed per user, which suits a workforce where usage varies enormously from one person to the next.
Print stays where it belongs. Home printing brings problems that outweigh the convenience, and cloud print covers most of what people need without documents ending up somewhere they shouldn’t.
Security
Security, and what we can show for it.
A production business holds less obviously sensitive data than a law firm, right up until somebody encrypts it. Then it’s your order book, your customer list, your drawings and your payroll, and none of it is coming back without a working backup.
We’re Cyber Essentials certified, and the certificate is listed on the public IASME register if you want to check it. We work to ISO 9001 standards, and we only sell and support hardware and software that meets UK regulatory requirements.
Your ERP, MES or CAD system comes from whoever supplies it, and it stays with them. What sits underneath it is ours: the network it runs across, the devices your people use to get into it, and the backups that mean a bad week doesn’t become a lost one.

Support
Who picks up.
Calls come into our office and are answered by our own team. You get somebody who starts working the problem out while you’re still on the line.
Everything starts with phone and remote support, and most things get sorted that way. Where they can’t be, an engineer comes out carrying the parts most likely to be needed.
