WILL MACINTYRE RETURNS TO SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS WITH MOMENTUM

Elite Motorsport’s Will Macintyre is set to return to the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit this weekend, aiming to build upon his previous successes at the Belgian track. The 17-year-old British driver, currently seventh in the GB3 Championship standings, is eager to capitalise on his familiarity with the circuit and recent strong performances.

Macintyre’s history at Spa is notable; in 2024, he secured a victory in a chaotic reversed-grid race, showcasing his skill in navigating challenging race conditions. Starting from fifth on the grid, he adeptly avoided incidents and made decisive overtakes to claim the win.

The GB3 Championship event at Spa-Francorchamps will feature a revised schedule, with two half-hour test sessions on Thursday and three additional sessions on Friday. Qualifying is set for Friday afternoon, followed by two races on Saturday and the final race on Sunday morning.
