British racing talent Will Macintyre is set to make a strong return to Silverstone this weekend as the 2025 GB3 Championship kicks off on April 26–27. Now back with Elite Motorsport, the 17-year-old aims to build on his impressive 2024 campaign, where he secured three victories and six podiums, finishing fifth overall in the standings.​ 

Macintyre’s history at Silverstone is notable. He clinched a thrilling victory at the circuit last year, narrowly holding off McLaren junior Ugo Ugochukwu in damp conditions. His familiarity with the track and proven race craft position him as a strong contender for the season opener. 

As the GB3 Championship embarks on its 2025 journey, starting at Silverstone and concluding at Monza in October, Macintyre’s performance this weekend will be pivotal in setting the tone for his title aspirations.
